Map one order’s journey
List the systems opened, fields copied and confirmation steps from order arrival to fulfilment. Separate necessary review from repeated entry; not all manual work is waste.
Measure a representative period
Record order volume, repeated-entry share, time per entry and working days. Explain whether the sample covers normal, seasonal or promotional demand. Mark exceptions separately.
